During these 3 days the conference will cover recent advances in the field of ophthalmology given by eminent & distinguished international, regional & local speakers. The conference will include more than 34 sessions, 10 unique courses, 9 very specialized Wet labs along with 2 hours of live surgery transmitted in 2 different halls from 5 countries.

President of 6th MEOM conference
MEOM is a collaboration between the International Ophthalmic Committees and the MEOM Academy that aims to provide up-to-date educational updates, hands-on training, and research opportunities in the rapidly changing field of ophthalmic sciences to
ophthalmologists worldwide.
The MEOM Academy team consists of renowned experts in ophthalmology from different parts of the world.
The MEOM Academy was established in 2018, and the first conference was held in person in 2019 and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2nd and 3rd MEOM conferences were held virtually in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
During the 3rd MEOM conference from 23rd - 25th September 2021, 167 international and local speakers were hosted, with 24 sessions and around 200 presentations.
The 4th MEOM Conference was held from October 14th - 16th 2022, at the Le Meridien Hotel in Dubai, with more than 2000 attendees, 115 international, regional, and local speakers from 23 different countries, 45 sessions, 255 presentations, and 3 wet labs, several live surgery sessions in different subspecialty areas were broadcast during the conference.
The conference activities were also transmitted live to Yemeni Ophthalmic Society members with an attendance of over 170 delegates.
The 5th MEOM was held from 19th - 21st October 2023 boasted an impressive lineup with 154 speakers engaging over 2,000 attendees across 52 sessions.
With 260 presentations, 10 Wet Labs, 5 round table discussions and 5 instruction courses.
MEOM was able to conduct two live surgeries, each hosted in separate halls, one for anterior segment and one for posterior segment, was transmitted by 8 surgeons from five global countries at each hall.
